We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Surgical Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Surgical Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care assisting your dedicated Oral Surgeon in the clinical treatment of patients. The ideal candidate has their certifications (radiography, CPR/BLS, infection control) and previous experience (at least one year) as a Dental Assistant. Our growing Practice has offices in five locations: Manchester, Glastonbury, West Hartford, Berlin and Coventry. If hired, you will be assigned to an oral surgeon as a part of his dedicated team of surgical assistants and travel with him to his preset 2-3 locations. Schedules are determined at the beginning of each month and remain steady but flexible throughout the year.

Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
- Assist the oral surgeon during procedures and exams
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required)
- Certifications (radiography, CPR/BLS, infection control)
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
- Willingness & ability to travel between locations
- Computer and data entry skills
